Tyninghame Village Hall is closed

Like everywhere, Tyninghame Village Hall has been closed since March due to the COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions. We opened briefly in October 2020 when restrictions eased but we have closed again following guidance from The Scottish Government.

Despite the hall being closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are keeping busy. The Tyninghame Village Hall Committee has made a commitment to make improvements to the village hall. For further information on the refurbishments please see here.

We have received funds from the Community Climate Asset Fund to insulate the roof space inside the hall. This , together with the new heaters, will make a really big difference to the energy efficiency of the Hall and we will have a much warmer and more welcoming environment for our users, especially in winter.

We would like to reassure all our future users that we take your safety very seriously. We have put in place a number of new hygiene and safety measures in the Hall to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We ask all those hiring and using the Hall to observe the current guidance on numbers attending Hall events, social distancing measures, the wearing of face-masks, etc. Documents relating to hire of the Hall can be found on the Booking Terms and Conditions page.
