Harvest Lunch

Date: October 18, 2026

Time: 12:30 pm

Location: Tyninghame Village Hall

Date: Sunday the 18^th October
Time: 12.30PM

We’re glad to be bringing back this event, this year, there is a fabulous menu; to suit all tastes, the menu will be showcasing locally sourced produce. This event will take place in the Village Hall, with the hall opening at 12.30 with food service at 1pm.

Places for the event are limited and must be booked in advance via Eventbrite:

Tickets are payable on the day:

Over 16”s – £22
10 -16 years – £10
Under 10”s – Free

Vegetarian and gluten free diets can be catered for, providing dietary requirements are notified in advance.

If you wish to join us, we will need to book by October the 12^th. This is a BYOB event.

Table Top Sale

Date: November 22, 2026

Time: 12:00 am - 12:00 am

Date: Sunday 22^nd November
Time: TBC

We’re looking to introduce this as a new event. Pre-Christmas and perhaps encouraging more sustainable gifting by taking the opportunity to sell, browse and buy. Hire a table for £20 to help with that pre-Christmas clear-out. Or come along and hunt out some bargain gifts.

The table hire charges will go to the village hall.

If you think you might be interested in hiring a table and selling your wares, or you would just like to attend such an event let Marie know at geantree.cottage@gmail.com.

Wreath Making

Date: December 4, 2026

Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location: Tyninghame Village Hall

Workshops will be held in Tyninghame Village Hall, places are limited therefore booking is essential.

Cost: Suggested donation of £20 at the door
Friday: 4th December 7pm till 9pm
Saturday: 5th December 10.30am till 12.30

Foliage and wreath ring will be provided; all greenery will be sustainably sourced from local areas; volunteers will be on hand to guide those who have never tried to make a Christmas wreath before.

Please bring your own secateurs and adornments in the form of baubles, ribbons bits and bobs to personalise your festive wreath.

More instructions will be made available following your confirmed booking
Coffee, tea and festive treats will be provided, you are welcome to BYOB.

Carol Singing on Christmas Eve

Date: December 24, 2026

Location: Tyninghame Village Hall

Date: December 24^th
Time: 4.30pm

Our Annual Carol Singing will again take place from 4.30 in the Village Hall, hot drinks and refreshments will be provided. We will be collecting on the night donations of non-perishable food items and gifts of money for the local food bank.
