Join us at Tyninghame Village Hall for an experience of resonant sound and high vibrations with your practitioner Greig Silver.

Immerse in a deeply resonant sound journey, surrounded by an array of unique instruments designed to guide you to inner peace and a lasting sense of wellbeing.

Sound journeys are effective in reducing stress, anxiety, and improving overall mental health.
The vibrations and frequencies produced during a sound journey can help reduce cortisol levels, induce relaxation, and promote a sense of peace and rejuvenation.
Additionally, it has been known to improve sleep quality, boost mood, and even alleviate symptoms of conditions like chronic pain, PTSD, and depression.
Overall, sound journeys can be a powerful tool in addressing various health issues and enhancing overall wellness.

The session will begin at 11am and end at 1pm.
The sound will last approximately 90 minutes.

Please wear cosy, loose-fitting clothing and bring a warm blanket, pillow and something very comfortable to lie on (a yoga mat alone is not usually comfortable enough).
Eye masks and hot water bottles are also recommended if you have them.

A liberating and energising movement practice that is designed to release the dancer that lives in everybody, no matter what your age, shape or ability. There are no steps to learn, just a willingness to listen to your body, let the music in and follow the movement that emerges, as we dance through a 5Rhythms Wave of Energy.

Monthly classes, in general, on the last Saturday of the month at 10am-11:30am in Tyninghame Village Hall.

An evening of jazz music and utterly delicious Sri Lankan food at Tyninghame Village Hall. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the magical melodic sounds of Kevin Mackenzie on guitar, Mario Caribé on bass and Harley Loudon singing favourites and winter warming foot tapping delights, while toasting the dark nights by a crackling fireside. Welcome to the Art Collective Winter Showcase! ❄️🎨

Our amazing little artists have been busy since the start of the school year, painting, drawing, doodling and creating their hearts out! They’ve taken inspiration from wonderful artists like Wassily Kandinsky, Joan Miró, David Hockney and Emily Kame Kngwarreye and now it’s time to show off their masterpieces!

But this isn’t just for our young exhibitors everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Come along to Tyninghame Village Hall anytime between 1–4pm for a cozy winter afternoon with the fire roaring, warm drinks for all, and plenty of art to enjoy.

There’ll be cookies, mince pies, festive kids’ crafts and even some holiday craft kits for sale, perfect for keeping little hands creative over the break. Bring the whole family as just one ticket per family and celebrate the colour, creative vibes and community spirit that make the Art Collective so special. ✨

By popular demand, Candles & Canapés is back for all you East Lothian crafters and this year we’re going bigger, brighter and letting you bring your own booze in.

Two formats, double the fun, all happening at Tyninghame Village Hall.

First up, our family-friendly afternoon tea and candle painting.
Think cakes, sandwiches, hot chocolate and coffee to keep you cosy while you paint three candles each.
Bring the kids, the grandparents, the cousins- everyone’s welcome as long as they can hold a paintbrush without eating it.

Adults and teens are £22pp, little ones under 12 are £15pp.

Festive spirit guaranteed.

If you want to come along to the evening event but the kids fancy the afternoon event, you are more than welcome to come along and supervise FOC them and pop back in the evening for your turn!

Then, once the sun goes down, we get serious.
The evening event, Candles & Canapés, is officially infamous. It’s BYOB, it’s social, it’s your chance to paint four candles while grazing on foodwithjooj’s insane canapés.
Come as a group, come solo, either way you’ll leave merry.

Tickets are £45pp. 

These events always sell out (you lot don’t hang around) so if you fancy a bit of festive crafting, tasty food and some drinks of your choice, then get in quick.

NEW! Lark Pilates classes at Tyninghame Village Hall, early Tuesday eves : 5.45 — 6.35pm. 

First class, Tuesday October 28. 

It’s suitable for all levels, so if you’re brand new on the mat — welcome! 

And if you have done some Pilates before, there will be lots of ace challenges for you too. 

Lark Pilates classes are small, friendly and upbeat. Teaching is the APPI method, widely used in the NHS and elite sport.

Pilates can help:

– Strengthen, lengthen and tone muscles

– Build core strength

– Improve balance and posture

– Promote relaxation

– Prevent and manage injury

£65 for a five-week block of classes, beginning Tuesday October 28.
