Tyninghame Community COVID-19

Dear Friends and Neighbours

In an effort to help anyone affected by COVID-19 over the coming weeks, we thought it would be worthwhile getting in touch with a support plan…

What to do if you become unwell and are self-isolating

In the first instance use online support https://www.nhs24.scot/  ring 111
Let your neighbours know, and then contact us by email – covid19tyninghame@gmail.comand/or via the Tyninghame Community WhatsApp group. If you do not have a smartphone or an email address, please call Lucy Aykroyd on 07732 749833 or Gill Harper on 07976 633313

There is a team of us very happy to help organise things such as shopping, daily contact, medicine collection and keeping any lowspirits up, please do get in touch.

Please remember to use the NHS to get medical care when you need it: do not ignore symptoms of heart attacks, strokes, children’s illnesses or ignore injuries through accidents. Nor if you are worried your symptoms may be of cancer.

Village meeting on footpath to Binnings Wood: 10 March

A Message from Daniel Wight, Community Council Rep.

Hi all,

We have booked the Tyninghame village hall for Tuesday 10 March from 7.30pm for a community meeting about the possible routes of a public footpath from the village to Binnings Wood. Nick Morgan, ELC’s Access Officer, is able to come and we’ll discuss the three possible routes under consideration (all subject to the landowners’ permission).

Best wishes,
