Hall availability. The hall is available to hire during the week and weekends subject to availability. Check hall availability calendar here

The Hall is at the centre of the village and is managed and maintained by a volunteer Committee (Tyninghame Village Hall and Community Committee). Due to the hall’s position in the centre of the village, the Committee is careful to keep within a community threshold of tolerance for big events and noise levels. We therefore impose the following restrictions:

  • A strict evening curfew applies of 10pm on weekdays (Monday – Thursday) and 11pm at weekends.
  • We have a strict acoustic music only policy.
  • We also limit the number of weddings and evening events hosted in the village hall each year.
  • We are also unable to accommodate 18th and 21st birthday celebrations.

Booking requests are sometimes referred to the Committee if there are several late events occurring during the month. Please be patient if this situation arises.

Booking enquiries – please email tyninghamebookings@gmail.com We encourage you to discuss your needs with our Hall Keeper, Eric Martin.
